Continuous Innovation and Improvement at R & R Cigars
January 2012 R&R opens at the end of University Blvd with one of the most innovative retail cigar establishments in the South.

Events in the first 6 months with Glen Case, Nick Perdomo, Sean Williams, and Gary Sheffield.

Themed rooms (Sports, Movies, Cigars) is recognized widely as a significant innovation by the industry.

One year Anniversary with the "Patel Brothers", Rocky, Nish, and Nimish, introduces the partnership with Mary's Bakery, with a spectacular presentation featuring the 3 signature cigars of our guests. Later in 2013 R&R becomes a "Rocky Patel Lounge" in recognition of our customers' outstanding support of RP brands.

In May of 2013, R&R moved to the historic Maxwell House, just 2 blocks from the original location. R&R conducted the move without ever closing. A grand re-opening celebration was held with Sean Williams of Primer Mundo Cigars.

Reagan is invited to join the Board of Directors for IPCPR, the major trade association for retail cigar merchants

Reagan introduces his first cigar, the Black Warrior, which continues to be very successful for R&R

R&R quickly innovated the space into a multi-room space with more seats, tv's, and a legendary veranda.

August 2013. R&R Hosts the National launch party for the Bold by Nish Patel

R&R Cigars is featured on the cover of Tobacco Shop Magazine in December of 2013

In April of 2014, R&R hosted the "Ladies of the Leaf" event with Cynthia Fuente and Berta Bravo. The R&R Guayabera by the Guayabera Lady (Berta) has been a trademark of R&R employees ever since.

October 2014, Reagan introduces his second cigar, the Casa de las Estrellas, (House of the Stars) as the official family cigar of R&R. Also still very successful.

November 2014. R&R adds full service Beer/Wine/Liquor service to its offerings, quickly building one of the most impressive beer and liquor collections in the region

2015 saw the addition of draft beer, and improvement of the liquor selection.

2016: Redesign of the porch furnishings adds comfort and seating for up to 50 patrons outdoors

2017: R&R serves over 1,000 customers in a single day on the Friday before the Tennessee Home Football game

R&R Alum, Zach Moore is hired by General Cigar

R&R Adds the Foundation Cigar Company to the humidor, including popular lines of Tabernacle and Upsetter, quickly becoming one of the nation's most successful retailers of Foundation Cigars.

2018. R&R Alum, Cameron Calhoun is hired by LFD

2019: R&R Alum, John Brannon is hired by Caldwell/Booth Cigars
A new VIP Lounge is created upstairs with 70" TV, Movie Theme, and complimentary soft drinks and coffee for use by locker members.
